Have you ever found yourself feeling depleted, exhausted, or just not quite yourself? Maybe you’re in a space where you don't feel aligned with who you truly are.

If this sounds familiar, it’s a sign that it’s time to restore your light, dear Warrior. And the best way to do that is by reconnecting with the source of all light—Jesus Christ.

In this blog, we’ll explore how to reclaim your authentic self, renew your energy, and draw closer to Christ, who promises:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

What Happens When We Feel Off-Balance?

When we feel overwhelmed or disconnected, it’s often because we’ve drifted from the peace that comes through Christ. Instead of operating from a place of spiritual strength, we might find ourselves stuck in survival mode—reacting to life’s stresses from a place of fear, anxiety, or frustration.

This happens because we shift out of our higher, God-given potential and into patterns of self-protection, where emotions like worry and grief take over. It’s like losing sight of the lighthouse in a storm. But remember, Christ is always there, waiting to calm the storm and guide us back to safety.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27)

Vibrating at a Higher Frequency Through Christ

The beautiful truth is that we don’t have to stay in that disconnected state. As daughters of God, we have the power to raise our spiritual vibration by turning our hearts back to Him. When we reconnect with Christ, we experience divine peace, gratitude, forgiveness, and love—the fruits of His Spirit.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.” (Galatians 5:22)

Restoring your light is about stepping back into alignment with your divine nature and feeling the presence of the Savior in your life. So, how do we get there?

Steps to Restore Your Light in Christ

I call it Restore Light—a practice to help you reconnect with your highest energy, your true self, and most importantly, with Jesus Christ. Here are a few ways to begin that restoration:

1. Cultivate Gratitude
Gratitude shifts your focus from what’s lacking to the abundance of God’s blessings. It softens your heart and brings you closer to Him. Start by writing down three things you’re grateful for each day, and you’ll begin to see His hand in your life more clearly.

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

2. Serve Others with Christlike Love
When we serve, we reflect the light of Christ. Acts of kindness and compassion not only bless others but also fill our hearts with joy and connection. Whether it’s helping a friend, comforting a loved one, or volunteering, service invites His light into your life.

“Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” (Matthew 25:40)

3. Connect with God’s Creation
Nature is a powerful reminder of God’s presence. Spend time in His creation—walk by a river, sit in the sun, or simply listen to the birds sing. Let the beauty of the earth testify of His love and help ground you in His peace.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” (Psalm 19:1)

4. Do What Brings You Joy
God created us to have joy! Engage in activities that lift your spirit and remind you of the beauty of life. Whether it's painting, singing, gardening, or dancing, these moments of joy are a gift from Him.

5. Prayer & Scripture Study
Prayer and scripture study are your direct lines to heaven. When you kneel in prayer or open your Bible, you invite Christ into your heart and mind. These sacred moments help realign your spirit with His truth and fill you with divine strength.

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” (James 4:8)

Your Next Step: Restore Your Light in Him

Take a moment today to reflect on what brings light into your life. What practices or moments make you feel closest to Jesus Christ?

When you feel low or disconnected, turn to those practices. They are personal tools God has given you to raise your vibration and feel His love.
